Boulder’s Avery Brewing gears up for move to Gunbarrel
BOULDER – The craft beer mecca of Boulder is actually losing a taproom.
For a week anyway.
Avery Brewing Co., a mainstay in town since 1993, will serve up suds for the final time at its East Arapahoe location on Monday in preparation for the grand opening of its new brewery, taproom and restaurant in Gunbarrel on Feb. 16.
Some of Avery’s employees have already started making the move.
“It’s been quite a transition,” marketing and events specialist Jess Steinitz said.
