Fort Collins’ director of sustainability resigns

FORT COLLINS — Mary Atchison, director of the Department of Social Sustainability for the city of Fort Collins, resigned Friday Oct. 10, according to Bruce Hendee, chief sustainability officer for the city of Fort Collins.

Atchison could not be reached for comment, and Hendee did not disclose a reason for the resignation.

Hendee, who oversees the sustainability department, said that Atchison has worked with the city for 10 months, and she has done a lot of good work.
