Platteville-based Synergy Resources officials hope to begin drilling four wells in the empty field just north of Centerplace this winter, with a unique compromise on scheduling and location. It involves splitting the drilling geographically, and potentially scheduling fracking operations only during normal waking hours. The project is still in final planning with the city of Greeley and has not yet been scheduled for a hearing.
