Famous Brands continues international expansion

BROOMFIELD – With six store openings in China, Australia and Pakistan recently, Broomfield-based Famous Brands International, parent to TCBY and Mrs. Fields Cookies chains, expects to continue its expansion into international markets.

The company plans to open 25 more stores in those three countries during the next two years, and it has recently signed agreements to develop additional franchise locations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam, with the first four locations in Malaysia expected to open in June.

TCBY, a frozen yogurt chain, and Mrs. Fields, a cookie retailer, have more than 900 stores in 33 countries.
