Culinary Software buys building, moves to it

BOULDER – Culinary Software Services Inc. has moved within Boulder to an 8,500-square-foot building at 2930 Center Green Court.

Popjoy LLC, led by Brian Bennett, who is co-founder and president of Culinary Software, bought the building in June of last year for $1,350,000, according to public records.

The company, which previously leased space at 1900 Folsom St., develops software for the backend operation of the food-service industry including restaurants,   of restaurants, mo. Its flagship products, ChefTec and CorTec software, provide the food-service industry with inventory control, menu-costing, ordering, purchasing and nutritional analysis of recipes.

The building’s interior was gutted, and it has been renovated to meet the company’s needs, according to Eileen Allison, a spokeswoman for Culinary Software. The move will accommodate the company’s growth within its four departments: software development, support, training and marketing, she said.
