BOULDER -Sargent Bickham Lagudis LLC, a wealth-management firm in Boulder, hired Richard Lawrence as president and chief executive.

Brad Bickham, who has served as president since 1999, will now focus on portfolio management and investment research as chief investment officer and chairman.

Lawrence was the president, CEO and chief operating officer for the University of Colorado Foundation. Prior to working at the foundation, Lawrence’s 30-year career in banking at Vectra Bank and Bank One included senior-management positions in finance, operations and retail bank management.
