Stadium critics create online petition

FORT COLLINS – Save Our Stadium Hughes, the group opposing an on-campus stadium at Colorado State University, has created an online petition asking city and state officials to conduct an impact analysis of such a stadium.

CSU announced late last month that it would assemble an advisory committee to hear recommendations from the community on the stadium proposal, but Save Our Stadium Hughes is collecting signatures on a petition that will ultimately be delivered to the Fort Collins City Council and the Colorado State House, according to an email from Bob Vangermeersch of Save Our Stadium Hughes.
