Natapows sell fair-trade store Momentum

BOULDER – Kevin and Jenny Natapow have sold Momentum, a fair-trade retail shop on Pearl Street in Boulder, to Lois and Paul Culler of Fairfax, Virginia.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The store is closed for the holidays, and will reopen Jan. 8, according to a message on the store’s answering machine.

The Natapows opened Momentum at 1625 Pearl St. in June 2007.

The Cullers also own six Fair Trade Winds stores across the country; each is family operated and committed to fair trade.

The Culler family opened its first Fair Trade Winds store in Bar Harbor, Maine in 2007. Since then, it has opened stores in Fairfax, Stony Brook, New York, Seattle, Washington, Springfield, Ohio, and Jamestown, Rhode Island.

The stores are members of Green America and the Fair Trade Federation.
