Foothills back for second round at planning and zoning

FORT COLLINS – The Foothills mall redevelopment plan will go back before the city of Fort Collins’ planning and zoning board beginning Thursday.

The project’s overall development plan will be part of the board’s consent agenda during its meeting Nov. 14. Then, on Nov. 21 and Dec. 12, major amendments to the project development plan will be discussed.

In February, the planning and zoning board passed the initial project development plan, and in May, city council passed a $53 million public finance package for the $313 million project.

But various issues have held up the mall’s redevelopment, which was supposed to break ground…
