Nominees selected by the Supreme Court Nominating Commission to fill the vacancy are John Daniel Dailey, William W. Hood and David Prince. The position will be vacated effective Jan. 7, 2014.
Under the Colorado Constitution, Gov. John Hickenlooper has 15 days from Oct. 10, 2013 to appoint one of the finalists as a justice on the Colorado Supreme Court, according to a release from the Colorado Judicial Branch.
