50 part-timers hired for Sniagrab sale

BOULDER – Sports Authority’s Boulder store hired about 50 additional part-time employees to staff this year’s annual Sniagrab sale, which starts Saturday.

The promotional event – named for the word “bargains” spelled backwards – is held annually to sell Sports Authority’s previous year’s ski and snowboard equipment to customers at discounts. Sports Authority’s Boulder store is at 3320 28th St. The sports retailer is based in Englewood.

Customers may receive a variety of promotions designed to draw them into the stores, including discounts on purchases and chances to win a shopping spree. The event is expected to bring an additional 20,000 customers…
