Herman leaving green building guild

BOULDER – Julie Herman is stepping down as executive director of the nonprofit Colorado Green Building Guild based in Boulder.

Sandra Weeks, president of the guild’s board of directors and owner of Blue Spruce Design and Construction, said Ann Livingston has agreed to serve as interim executive director/strategic consultant while the board looks for Herman’s permanent replacement.

Weeks said Herman plans to “explore new horizons.” Herman’s last day is Aug. 23.
