Low-income housing applications accepted

BOULDER – Boulder Housing Partners is accepting applications for three affordable-housing programs to serve people with an average annual income of $12,775.

Applications are being accepted until 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 24.

The three programs are:

Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers: Program participants rent from a private landlord and pay approximately 30 percent to 40 percent of their income in monthly rent. Boulder Housing pays the remainder of the rent through federal subsidies. Boulder Housing manages more than 850 Section 8 Housing Choice vouchers in Boulder. A lottery is being held for this program.
