Dog-care facility to open in Boulder

BOULDER – Now the Bowhaus is closer to your house, if you live in Boulder.

Bowhaus Boulder, a grooming, day-care and boarding facility for dogs, plans to open at 6560 Odell Place in Boulder by Feb. 15. The business is owned by Dan and Susan Nicholson, who also have another Bowhaus in Erie.

The Nicholsons created Bowhaus Partners LLC to buy the property, which cost $1.1 million. The 15,500-square-foot property was built in 1985. Its four current tenants will remain.

Jason Kruse, a principal at the Colorado Group, represented the buyer and Sallie Taylor of Irwin and Hendrick represented the seller, Solid Systems Building Partnership. John Wahl of Wells Fargo arranged financing on the building.
