OtterBox acquires Boston-based Wrapsol

FORT COLLINS — OtterBox has acquired Wrapsol, a Boston-based manufacturer of protective film wrap for mobile technology.

Wrapsol offers several different film wrap products for phones and tablets. The wraps are meant to prevent scuffs and scratches while preserving the device’s screen visibility and responsiveness of touchscreens.

“Wrapsol is a promising company with similar values and similar culture whose product aligns with the OtterBox mission of complete, premium device protection,” Brian Thomas, OtterBox president and CEO, said in a statement.
