Walmart to expand shuttered Mason Street location

Walmart has obtained a building permit from the City of Fort Collins to expand a closed location at 4625 Mason St.

The retail giant closed the location in 2007 after opening a Loveland store just five miles away. In 2008, the company broke ground on a supercenter near the intersection of Harmony Road and Interstate 25.

Walmart also has a recently renovated location near the intersection of Lemay Avenue and Mulberry Street in Fort Collins.
