Fire up the job search

Are you in the beginning stages of making a change? Or is your job search stagnating? Perhaps you are looking for a way to clearly communicate the value you provide beyond the full-blown resume? Your close contacts are generally happy to assist but they need details.

Ignite, or re-ignite, the job search process by trying the following:

1. Compile a list of close affiliations and send an email requesting assistance in your job search. Subject line: Seeking New Opportunity!
2. Outline your top five strengths in a concise bulleted format right in the body of the email.
