UNC to Hold Town Hall Meeting with U.S. Department of Education Under Secretary

The University of Northern Colorado will hold a special town hall meeting with U.S. Department of Education Under Secretary Martha Kanter, 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Panorama Room at the University Center, intersection of 10th Avenue and 20th Street.

The central topic of discussion will be on college affordability with dialogue surrounding the fundamental role of college in society, particularly in advancing the nation’s economic and social prosperity, the return on investing in a postsecondary education, and the shared responsibility of students, postsecondary institutions, the states, and the federal government in expanding college opportunity.

Free parking will be available during the town hall meeting in Lot A, adjacent to the University Center.
