Synergy Resources begins first horizontal well with Noble

PLATTEVILLE – Synergy Resources has begun drilling on its first horizontal well in the Wattenberg Field with Noble Energy.

Synergy owns a 25 percent working interest in the well, and drilling began Jan. 30.

“Synergy’s participation in its first horizontal well marks a significant milestone for our company,´ said Ed Holloway, president and CEO of Synergy. “We will be participating in additional horizontal wells in the Wattenberg Field in fiscal 2012 with other notable operators.”
