Film fest to highlight digital media
BOULDER – The co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and the CEOs of several local tech startups will be presenting next Friday, Feb. 17, at the Boulder International Film Festival’s Digital Media Symposium.
The symposium is intended to address creative and technical issues, and it is aimed at professionals interested in the state’s creative and media sectors, according to a release from the film festival.
Alvy Ray Smith, a computer graphics pioneer, two-time Oscar winner and Pixar founder, will deliver the keynote address at the event, which is from 1 to 6 p.m. at the St Julien Hotel & Spa in downtown Boulder.
