Loveland hires design firm for HP/Agilent open space
LOVELAND – The City of Loveland has hired AECOM to plan and design site amenities for the HP/Agilent open space. The 121-acre site was purchased as part of the larger Agilent site acquisition in June and is located south of First Street and west of Railroad Avenue. It is also adjacent to the city’s Recreation Trail along the Big Thompson River. AECOM is an international firm with local offices and will plan the site with public input. The AECOM team has begun its analysis and research of the site features, with completion expected later in January. The design process will include several public meetings, the first of which will be held in late February. Master planning for the site is expected to be complete this spring and construction of the site amenities is expected to begin in the fall.
