Mountain Secure sells radios to Denver

LONGMONT – Mountain Secure Systems, a Longmont-based manufacturer of rugged electronics systems and wireless network equipment, was selected by the Denver Public Works department to provide equipment for its traffic-monitoring system.

Mountain Secure Systems will provide 50 wireless network radios to the Traffic Operations division. The radios were purchased to support a new video surveillance network intended to improve traffic control at intersections throughout Denver, a press release from the company said.

The price was not disclosed.

Mountain Secure Systems is a division of Phillips Service Industries Inc. The later company is a privately held, service-disabled veteran-owned business based in Livonia, Michigan.
