52Eighty, Level 3 team on wireless towers

BROOMFIELD – 52Eighty LLC , a Georgia-based manufacturer of towers with a regional office in Broomfield, has signed an agreement with Broomfield-based Level 3 Communications Inc. to develop 200 wireless tower access sites.

Level 3 (Nasdaq: LVLT) will grant 52Eighty access rights to develop the tower sites near its facilities within a two-year period, while Level 3 will deploy the optical transport equipment at the sites.

52Eighty will cover the cost of the tower construction, and Level 3 will enable transport services to and from the compound structure.
