The five proposals include individual and employer mandates for health-care insurance coverage and are the final recommendations of the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission on Health Care Reform to address rising health costs and how nearly 800,000 uninsured Coloradans could be covered.

Public hearings in Northern Colorado on the proposals are set for Oct. 11 at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins on Oct. 12. Both hearings will be held from 5 to 8 p.m.

For more information, call Kim Barbour at the Greeley Chamber of Commerce at 970-352-3566 or visit www.bizhealthforum.org.
