Food Bank seeks backyard produce donations

FORT COLLINS – The Food Bank for Larimer County, 1301 Blue Spruce Drive,
will begin accepting donations of garden produce from community members
beginning Aug. 6. Saturday donation hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon
though September. All types of fruits and vegetables in good condition
will be accepted.

Another produce donation drop spot for the Food Bank is at the Gardens
on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave., on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

Thirty-five percent of all food distributed at the Food Bank is produce.
Regular donation hours of both produce and non-perishable items are
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
