MSEC to host Benefit Update Conference

LOVELAND – Mountain States Employers Council will host a Benefits Update
Conference focusing on recent health care changes on July 21.

The conference is open to the public and will be held at Embassy Suites
Hotel and Conference Center, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, in Loveland.
Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. with a full day
of programming from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Steve ErkenBrack, president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Health Plans, will
speak about how health-care reform came about at 8:40 a.m. Lorez
Meinhold, deputy policy director for Gov. John Hickenlooper, will
discuss how Colorado will implement health-care reform at 12:35 p.m.

The conference will also include breakout sessions on Medicare,
legislative changes, wellness programs and keeping in conformance with
health care reform requirements.

Individual tickets cost $189 and include lunch and a comprehensive
manual. Tickets cost $159 each for groups of three or more from the same
employer.
