How dispatchable resources enable the clean energy transition

Platte River must prepare for the retirement of 431 megawatts (MW) of dispatchable, coal-fired generation by the end of the decade and address more frequent extreme weather events that can bring dark calms (periods when there is no sun or wind).

This summer marks the second year Grant Farms has hosted the summer
series. The event offers the chance to meet Andy Grant, Grant Farms
owner, and his Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) team.

Two more farm dinners will be held in August and September with dates still to be announced.

Tickets range from $75 to $85 each. Embassy Suites in Loveland is
partnering with Grant Farms to offer room rate specials to encourage CSA
members and the community to travel and make the farm dinner part of a
weekend getaway.
