UNC education programs re-accredited

GREELEY – Education programs at the University of Northern Colorado have
received full re-accreditation from the National Council of
Accreditation and Teacher Education, the university has announced.

NCATE focuses on two main areas when deciding to award re-accreditation
to a program. First, the institution must have high standards and
systems in its programs, and second, program graduates must meet
performance criteria that are focused on student achievement. The UNC
program evaluation included a four-member site visit from NCATE in
November.
