Thank You for the Rejection

I recently told a job searcher to send a thank you note to a hiring manager even though she was not offered a position. What? Are you crazy?

You might want to consider this idea if you can muster a sincere note of thanks. What do you have to be grateful for??? How about the opportunity to interview and learn about the organization?
