Startup America roundtable on Monday
BOULDER – White House officials are coming to Boulder on Monday to hear the concerns of local entrepreneurs and small-business owners as part of an initiative to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth.
The officials and more than 150 area business leaders are scheduled to meet at the Startup America: Reducing Barriers Roundtable, hosted by the University of Colorado at the Silicon Flatirons Center. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
Among the Obama Administration officials scheduled to attend are Don Graves, deputy assistant secretary for small business at the U.S. Treasury Department and executive director of president’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness; Phil Weiser, senior adviser for technology and innovation at the National Economic Council; and associate administrator for the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs Michael Fitzpatrick.
