Follow Through

Ever play tennis or golf? If so, you have undoubtedly focused on your follow through. Decades later, I can still hear my tennis instructor reminding me to “air my arm pit” after every backhand swing. The point is that you must continue your swing through the ball and beyond in order to play like a champ.

Same thing is true in business. People who understand the importance of following through with finesse really do stand out among their peers.

Keep your eye on the ball. Don’t lose momentum. Follow through all the way until you know that your customer has been completely satisfied.

Is there something on your to-do list right now that deserves your time and attention? Has your follow through been impeccable? Is there something more that needs to be done to ensure that you are playing like a champ and not being a chump?
