Fresca Foods expanding in Louisville

LOUISVILLE – Natural food producer Fresca Foods Inc. is expanding its logistics center in Louisville.

The company has subleased 49,750 square feet of industrial and warehouse space at 1775 Cherry St. in the Colorado Technology Center.

The expansion should accommodate the company’s growth for the next few years, executive vice president Alex Cioth said.

Empowering communities

Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP), part of the UnitedHealthcare family, has pledged its commitment to uplift these communities through substantial investments in organizations addressing the distinct needs of our communities.

Fresca Foods consolidated its offices, production and distribution facilities in the Colorado Technology Center in spring 2010, Cioth said. The company was expecting solid growth, but it still underestimated how much space it would need.

“We didn’t think we’d have to be doing a logistics center. Hopefully we’re not doing this again next year,” Cioth said.

The total square footage of Fresca’s facilities will increase from about 115,000 square feet to 135,000 square feet. Fresca’s main corporate office will remain at 195 CTC Blvd., Cioth said.

Neil Littmann and Scott Reichenberg of The Colorado Group represented the selling company. Marty Knape and Alex Hammerstein of CB Richard Ellis represented the listing company.
