Bank of Choice, Bank of Colorado lead in third-quarter assets

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The third quarter of 2010 was the first since the fourth quarter of 2008 that bank assets saw real growth, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

Nationwide, total bank assets increased by 1.2 percent or $163 billion in the third quarter.

Northern Colorado’s asset leaders, Bank of Colorado in Fort Collins and Bank of Choice in Greeley, reported total assets of $1.951 billion and $1.234 billion, respectively, for the quarter ending Sept 30.
