Budget hearings set

LARIMER COUNTY – The Board of Larimer County Commissioners will hold two
televised public hearings on the proposed 2011 budget.

The Monday, Nov. 15 hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners
Hearing Room on the first floor of the Larimer County Courthouse Office
Building at 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins. The hearing will be televised
on Fort Collins Cable Channel 14, LaPorte and Wellington Channel 16,
Loveland and Berthoud Cable Channel 16. Viewers can call with questions
or comments by dialing 970-498-7016.

On Monday, Nov. 22, the 6:30 p.m. hearing will be held in the Town Board
Chambers Room of the Estes Park Municipal Building, 170 MacGregor Ave.
It will be televised on Estes Park Channel 12.

Immediately preceding both budget hearings, the Larimer County Solid
Waste Department will conduct a hearing on a proposed 5 percent fee
increase for the Larimer County Landfill and Berthoud, Estes Park, Red
Feather and Wellington Transfer Stations for 2011, which will also be
televised.

A copy of the proposed 2011 budget and related documents are available
on the Larimer County website at www.larimer.org/budget/2011budget/.

Citizens can also make budget comments by e-mailing the County

Commissioners, P.O. Box 1190, Fort Collins, CO 80522.

The budget is scheduled for formal adoption on Monday, Dec. 20, at 10
a.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room in Fort Collins.
