Marketing-firm owner buys suites

BOULDER – Internet marketing company Parallel Path will move to a new location on Pearl Street, its leaders announced Monday.

Parallel Path owner Brian Cleveland has purchased two commercial suites at 1637 Pearl St. in downtown Boulder for $1,624,000.

The company, which was started in 2005, is growing, largely because of the success of its Aha!Local online marketing service, and needs more space.

The Boulder County Business Report and Denver Business Journal have recognized Parallel Path as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the region.

Cleveland said the company also needs to be closer to the action.

“The new facility makes sense for multiple reasons,” Cleveland said. “Parallel Path needs more space to grow, but more importantly, is better served by being in the entrepreneurial and economic heart of the city. As an Internet marketing agency, Parallel Path is a key part of the vibrant Boulder business community. Since the launch of Aha!Local, it has become more critical to be centrally located in Boulder’s retail community, as well.”

Parallel Path’s old home was 4888 Pearl East Circle. That will remain the home of Percept Technology Labs, an engineering service firm also owned by Cleveland. Percept specializes in product-testing.
