Encision reports decrease in revenue
BOULDER – Encision Inc. reported a decrease in revenue and a loss for its first quarter ended June 30 compared to the same quarter a year ago.
The Boulder-based maker of surgical instruments reported revenue of $2.9 million compared to $3.2 million for the same quarter 2009.
Encision (OTCBB: ECIA) also reported a loss of $119,000 for the quarter compared to a $163,000 profit for first quarter 2009. That equates to a loss of 2 cents per share compared to a gain of 3 cents.
