The Dot Hill technology provides a foundation for a new class of mid-range and enterprise storage systems for companies building private and public cloud storage systems to complement virtual servers.

Xiotech is a privately held data-storage company based in Eden Prairie, Minn., that provides storage blades used in data centers.

The iSN platform enables OEM partners to build custom solutions. It is based on a flexible virtualization engine that scales to more than 2 petabytes of storage with virtual volumes, tiered storage, thin provisioning, snapshots, replication and data migration built-in. A petabyte is equal to one quadrillion bytes.
