VP Biden visits UQM on Friday

WELD COUNTY – Vice President Joe Biden is coming to Weld County Friday,
April 30, to visit UQM Technologies.

The vice president will be onsite at 11 a.m. to highlight UQM’s
successful use of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. He will
then continue on to Denver for an evening fundraiser for Fourth
Congressional District Rep. Betsy Markey.

UQM received a $45.1 million ARRA grant last August to expand
manufacturing of electric vehicle propulsion systems. Soon thereafter, the company purchased an
