PVH trauma center verified Level III

FORT COLLINS – The American College of Surgeons recently verified Poudre
Valley Hospital’s trauma program.

The verification is the first in Colorado for a Level III trauma center.
Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and North Colorado Medical
Center in Greeley – both Level II trauma centers – have also received
the ACS verification.

PVHS was also recently redesignated by the state to continue operating
as a Level III trauma center. The Colorado Department of Public Health
and Environment surveys trauma centers every three years for
