Corporate Express facility LEED certified

BROOMFIELD – Corporate Express US Inc. has attained LEED gold certification for its distribution facility in Portland, Ore.

The LEED rating system is a voluntary, consensus-based standard to support and certify successful green building design, construction and operations.

Corporate Express, a Broomfield-based office supply company and a part of Netherlands-based Corporate Express NV (NYSE: CXP), also will purchase 100 percent renewable energy credits for the facility located at 5441 NE 148th Ave. The credits are used to offset energy use for the facility.
