Hunter’s in Longmont closes
LONGMONT – Fine dining restaurant Hunter’s Restaurant & Pub in Longmont has closed after a 10-year run.
Owner Vijay Mehra opened the restaurant that was known for its steaks and seafood in 1998 in the Meadow View Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Airport and Nelson roads. Its last day was Saturday, Feb. 9.
Mehra also ran the Silo Restaurant & Sports Bar on Hover Street near the Diagonal Highway. That restaurant opened in 2004 and closed in 2006.
