Each year the Hall of Fame identifies businessmen and women who exemplify business, cultural and philanthropic initiatives that serve as the foundation of our communities.

“The many communitywide economic, social, cultural and political benefits that we enjoy today are largely due to the dedication of BCBHF members and others like them,´ said Virginia Patterson, a board member with the Hall of Fame. “These are businesspeople who, in addition to their outstanding business accomplishments, have and in some instances continue to give generously of their time and talent as volunteers, contributors and leaders.”

The Boulder County Business Hall of Fame was established in 1992 to recognize and honor businesswomen and men who personify “business at its best.” These honorees have come to be regarded as community entrepreneurs due to their commitment to not only becoming successful in business but to providing direction, energy and support in shaping Boulder County during the last 150 years. Since 1992, more than 110 individuals have received this prestigious award.

Honorees in May 2007 were Thomas Eldridge, Bayne Gibson, Daniel Pirrallo and the Harvest House Hotel, Richard Klein, G. Lane Earnest and John Edward Mock.

In addition the Hall of Fame awards a scholarship each year to two deserving Boulder County High school graduates attending University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business.
