City of Boulder IT director departs

BOULDER – The city of Boulder’s Information Technology Director Christopher Puccio is returning to the private sector to pursue new career opportunities within the wireless industry.

Puccio’s last day with the city will be Friday, July 27.

Over the past 18 months, Puccio led Boulder’s involvement in the Colorado Wireless Communities, a 10-city government consortium focused on implementing a regional wireless Internet broadband network. Puccio said he has made this a priority during his career to keep Boulder competitive in the global marketplace.
