Projections boost confidence index

DENVER – The Compass Bank Colorado Business Leaders Confidence Index, or BLCI, moved up from 53.5 to 54.9 for the second quarter of 2007.

The index increased primarily on the strength of projected sales and profits. An index reading of 54.9 suggests that economic growth should continue to expand in the next quarter.
