A brief history of Northern Colorado’s Mercury 100
It all started seven years ago.
After five years of compiling and publishing an annual list of the region’s fastest-growing companies – a list that proved to be one of the most popular features in the Northern Colorado Business Report – co-publishers Christopher Wood and Jeff Nuttall decided to go big. So, in 2000, the list was expanded to 100 companies, renamed in honor of the Roman god of commerce as well as all things speedy, and got its own soon-to-be-annual event.
