McKee?s big turnaround

LOVELAND — For the last 19 months, Rick Sutton has been on a mission. That mission: to lift sagging morale at McKee Medical Center and make the longtime community hospital in east Loveland one of the best — if not the best — in the nation.

“I’ve said let’s set our expectations high,´ said Sutton, who took over as McKee’s CEO in 2005. “That’s why the vision is not to be a good hospital. It’s to be the best hospital in Banner Health, in Northern Colorado and the nation.”
