Mass transit, more officers ease early traffic problems

BROOMFIELD – Developers of the Broomfield Event Center are working hard to make their entire project more traffic and bus friendly.

As a concert and sports venue that holds evening events, some worry that the center’s traffic will conflict with normal rush-hour commuters and further clog roads. On the Nov. 9 opening night concert with Bonnie Raitt, traffic did back up along U.S. 36, garnering complaints from both concertgoers and other drivers.
