Plan to listen to candidates debate

LOVELAND – The two top candidates for the Colorado governor’s office will square off at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at the Ranch, Larimer County’s fairgrounds complex, in a debate arranged by the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance.

Republican nominee Bob Beauprez and Democrat Bill Ritter have both accepted the NCLA’s invitation. Northern Colorado Business Report co-publisher Chris Wood will moderate the debate.

Themed “Race for the Dome,” the debate format will include opening statements from each candidate followed by a series of questions issues of importance to Northern Colorado from a panel of journalists representing the region’s media. Candidates will be…
