Costco to open big box at I-25 and E-470

THORNTON – Costco Wholesale Corp. (Nasdaq: COST) announced plans to open a new 156,000-square-foot warehouse store in the first quarter of 2007. Construction is set to begin in late August near the intersection of Interstate 25 and E-470 in Thornton.

The new Costco Warehouse will be built adjacent to the Larkridge South retail center, just south of the existing Sears Grand. Jordon Perlmutter, president of Denver-based developer Jordon Perlmutter & Co., said site preparation is presently under way.
