Proposed church projects receive mixed responses
Two large construction projects proposed by LifeBridge Christian Church near Longmont and Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot are meeting with very different responses.
The larger development is Project LifeBridge, a 313-acre church campus and housing development east of Highway 119 in southwest Weld County. 4C, the Corporation for Community Christian Connection, is a nonprofit corporation formed by the church to manage its development. Its master plan proposes a 75-acre religious district encompassing a fellowship hall and three worship auditoriums.
